We are all going toward a similar goal. Making money from affiliate marketing concepts.
But not all of us are on the same road.
Some are doing book publishing
some are trying to do affiliate marketing on websites but from different sources (amazon, clickbank, etc),
Some are setting up YouTube channels
And some are doing all of these.
Some have dreams of making millions and are working 40 hours a week
Some have dreams of building a business but can’t work more than a few hours a week.
Some want to work but need to learn the basics first
I am in that latter group. I worked for startups and large companies over the years. What I have learned is that you have to figure out how things work before you can make money, and not everyone goes on the same path to get there.
Sometimes creating a strategy to make money from unusual sources can get you to where you want to be. But it takes time.
For me? I still have no organic traffic. Very few impressions. With the latest Google Update, it’s gotten worse.
Does this mean I am failing? No. I am trying new things. I am focusing on growing traffic on social media (LinkedIn). I am talking to people about guest posts and other similar strategies to drive traffic to my site.
I am also planning on reviving a YouTube channel.
It’s all about learning new things.
